Sunday inspiration in Sweden

Sunday in Sweden can be dark and cold but inside its, debates and weird discussions from everything to Greek government to feminism and if a dog is considered a officer of the law.

When things get to heated I either retire and to some work or dig in to some juice series or movies today I will advice you to have a look at:

Shameless

Games of Thrones

and have a go at the new Batman game smiley

Feminism, what is that?

Feminism is a collection of movements aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equalpolitical, economic, and social rights and equal opportunities for women.

Had a discussion with my brother about the word Feminism, I have never thought about the word, or the term, when read out  to me. But I am in practise, a feminist.

Most people think dreads, no shaving, lesbians and other terms when hearing the word. But the fact is that the everyday woman who lives here life, like anyone else with the "normal" strive to make her money, vote, discuss, make choices etc and believes and knows that she has the full right to performs this, is effectively a feminist.

So it's not only burning bras or braided underarm hair.

But the term doesn't define me as a person, it is a label that has been created because the society isn't rightfully aware of the fact that we are equal, and it goes for race, religion, culture and sexuality. I say this because as other social terms there are a greater spectrum, where the radials and fanaticals has to take term as an excuse to define what they are and why they behave un rational.

I recommend this ; Misfits

Misfits is really one of my favourite series yesterday I watched the the 3 series. And I am so excited it looks proper good, the new character is obviously a replacement for Nathan. But he still hold the character with his own niche. The new power ( sorry if I'm spoiling i, but I'm not if you have followed the series) the new powers gives another edge to the story and the other characters. If you don't watch it i recommend and if you do, keep on watching it.

Kuwait here I am

A dinar for a dime, getting used to this byrocratic country, with the ambition to only amuse the moustache on their gob.The country rests only on the oil that it posses, but hoe long will their be oil, unfortunately I have to say some people are just happy and content to just exists an sit from one chair to another, and letting their mundane days pass by.It's getting used to it and trying to do your work that is simply a pain in your ass.

Got stopped the other day by an officer on the street, next to him was his translator in a white gown. He kept annunciation a word to my face , and I tried to make out, what he wanted. After about the fourth try he placed his wrists against eachother to indicate that I would be placed in jail.

I told him sorry but I can't understand a word your saying.

He answer was of course in arabic. After perhaps the fifth attempt I was modestly attempted to just tell him to grow up, and stop playing Universal soldiers.

Not a good idea, so I did the most rational thing that popped in my head.

I flipped my passport in his face along with my Visa permit, he hardly looked at it and replied " Where you from" it was of course stated in my passport, but he insisted asking. WHere you from, how long your here?

I said Sweden, the other "officer" replied how long you working here" I said I'm going home tomorrow.

Apparently not having your pass and permit on you at all time is an hazzard, but when you hand it to the officer don't expect them to check the passport or the visa.

Perhaps its just a humorous emotion to show power, just for the sake of it.

Kuwait I’m on mi way

It's about 40 degrees celsius and of course very restricted for women, so I will take this as a challenge, cover up in the heath.

It is probably a beautiful and exotic place. I just found out that the DSLR cameras are banned in Kuwait, so thats a caramel I will have to taste. Its the bittersweet scenario, architecture and cultural juxtaposition between the conservative and the modern.

Work was hectic today, wrote 2 treatments, 1 script, did the final edit for a product and had to shop for some props with a very picky client. I like days that are busy. Tomorrow I will have 2 meeting with 2 different companies hopefully they will like my treatments.smiley

Gymmin

Going to the gym, can be considered to be certain stature, from the outside the gym seems to belong to the fanatic aerobic chicks, protein monsters and the pretty ones, that doesn't like to sweat.

Now, I go just to feel good about my body, sweat, listen to some good music and maybe do some crazy dancing in the corner.

Today I frantically started to laugh because I though about a funny scene from before, I couldn't stop laughing. For a second, I thought that the "Gymie's" would give me the look of shame . But after a while I could see some of them smiling, and of course trying to hide it, because it is forbidden as one of the "Gymie's" to laugh while you train, thats a no, no.

Leaving you with a picture from my shoot,

Reading

Laughed like a mad man when I had to do a dummy voiceover, one of the projects required a dummy voice over. Nobody was up for it, so I had a go smiley. Realizing after three minutes into it, that I couldn't stop laughing, the sound recordist gave me a pat on the shoulder and said, it is hard I know .

No water only beer, what !

Just came back from food-hunting with my crew, picky picky. Full and tired, haven't trained for a week, my body is not used to it. But will be back soon for some exercise. The restaurant didn't have any drinks except beer, so now I feel a bit strange, but in a nice way. It's about twelve here. Knackered and ready to be up 6.
